The Fraser and other rivers throughout BC flooded in the spring of ‘07, some worse than others. We didn't have it so bad, all things considered, though large chunks of the Lower Mainland (warning: large PDF) were on flood warning and a couple of hundred homes had to be evacuated. Coquitlam River, not being fed directly by mountain snow, only flooded a little (mostly backwash from the Fraser) just enough to wet the hiking trails running alongside it.
