Nul ne vient au Père que par moi» Which is French for “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6, kids. It’s a bit hard to see at this resolution, but there’s also writing around the smaller grey circle: «Aimez-vous les uns les autres comme moi je vous ai aimés» I.e.: “Love one another as I have loved you.” John 13:34. Wow. It’s like my grandparents’ house threw up all over this dress. The Rosary beads are an especially nice touch. I can’t imagine anyone wearing it non-ironically, but then I was never into retro French Catholic chic.
